I find it hard to stay busy in wintertime; I'm a garden girl. :)Bethhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/09792341123595520130noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-7809908055754014264.post-75507083709708242372014-01-11T14:05:05.941-07:002014-01-11T14:05:05.941-07:00I love your pretty sunrise. The first think that popped into my head was a sign. You know to hang from your lovely porch? That is such a nice piece you could even use it to write on in your kitchen you know notes to your self? Staring at it I think it is just wonderful.
Your wine looks wonderful and I think that would be fun to make. I like your bowl, it looks so nice with those muffins. I think you are doing very good keeping yourself busy with all of that snow.
I enjoyed stopping by today. Like you, I don't appreciate the lotions that are loaded with fragrances and chemicals I can't pronounce. I make a non-petroleum salve that I use all winter long on my skin, lips, and even on my face. Recipe: 2 oz. olive oil (or other oil) 1 T. beeswax pellets. Melt together in double boiler. After it's melted I add in vitamin E oil from 3-4 capsules. You can add essential oils, but I like it plain. I also like to use just coconut oil on my skin.

Gumbo Lilyhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/02747138637571716591noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-7809908055754014264.post-52048671696033797492014-01-11T10:44:44.153-07:002014-01-11T10:44:44.153-07:00You've given me lots of fun ideas to try here....You've given me lots of fun ideas to try here...thanks! The lotion bars intrigue me. I have some of those ingredients on hand, and the others shouldn't be hard to find.Alicahttps://www.blogger.com/profile/17973714830730420149noreply@blogger.com
