I have done plenty of lap coverlets, a duvet or two, afghans and baby blankets, but never a quilt. I'd best think about that. The cabin sure could use some of those gorgeous ones like you did for your sis and your own bed. What prideful pieces. I am going to be cutting it in strips for rugs anyway so I think that will be fine. My daughter in law spins and she has always dyed her yarn that way and it has never faded. I think adding the vinegar to it helps. I was so amazed that the red covered the hot pink so well. I was really doubtful. <br />It was sure fun to see the color disappear and leave behind clear water as it got all adsorbed into the wool.Farm Girlhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/00998621464797636686noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-7809908055754014264.post-83161284820018015742012-01-24T19:05:01.036-07:002012-01-24T19:05:01.036-07:00Nice quilts. I too have a quilt where one of the fabrics wore out. It happened on the first quilt I made. My youngest son sleeps with it every night. I made it for my oldest son, my first born. The quilt is about 12 years old and it has had so much use. I hand quilted it. Everything has held up perfect except for that one fabric. I have to fix it somehow. I also want to tell you that your bed is gorgeous! Your husband is very talented. It's fun to see little bits of your home in your photos. I am so envious....sooooo beautiful!!!Bonniehttps://www.blogger.com/profile/13485155713261218739noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-7809908055754014264.post-3105051215875474642012-01-22T23:10:15.591-07:002012-01-22T23:10:15.591-07:00Your quilts are beautiful!
