Company...

Lately we've been lucky enough to have company every night. The doe's name is Croppy, because of her cropped ears. She's been around for about 4 years. Sorry the shots aren't the best. I couldn't get them to pose.

Maybe someday he will grow up to look like this beauty we saw at the Praire Island Deer Park in Winona, Minnesota.

I am so thankful to be able to look out my back door and see a beautiful fawn every summer.

What kind of deer are they? We have white tail deer in Ohio.

A young girl was walking along a beach which thousands of starfish had washed up during a terrible storm. When she came to each starfish, she would pick it up, and throw it back into the ocean. People watched her with amusement. She was doing this for some time when a man approached and said, “Little girl, why are you doing this? Look at this beach! You can’t save all these starfish. You can’t begin to make a difference!” The girl was crushed, suddenly deflated. But after a few moments, she bent down, picked up another starfish, and hurled back into the ocean. She looked up at the man and replied, "I made a diffence to that one." Soon the man and the other people on the beach helped her. All of the starfish were saved.
