What a coincidence, I was just looking at watering cans today too, and saw one almost like yours--Holding one really does give you spring fever, doesn't it?
We are still waiting on winter. Some of our trees are starting to bud. After our snow last winter we are having a very mild winter here in Ohio. We have a small snowstorm then several days in the 40's and 50's. We will take it though. I am hoping that the snow doesn't decide to come in March and April!!
Oh, that is the best made, could not wait 4 months to use it. We have a galvanized watering can the same size, our 300 gallon rain tote fills it in 15 seconds..
Wanted to to know about the petition to get the EPA to take action to save the honey bees, action is needed by Tuesday please visit my blog and sign the link, repost if you want.
Yep, another 4 months of waiting for us, then it's a mad dash to get everything planted and harvested before the first frost......the joys of living in such a short growing season.
We've been getting all the seed catalogs so my wife is raring to get the garden going. She's already got some lettuce growing in a tub beside the house.
So sorry, really? 4 more months? Well, maybe it will come fast. That butterfly I posted was really early. I have never seen one this early but then we haven't had winter this year. I know that when you get spring, it is beautiful. I remember your great pictures from last year. Not to mention your summers at fantastic while I will be burning up and everything will have alreayd died. :) I love looking at pictures of your snow, not to mention that is a nice watercan.
It is a beaut....rather vintage looking...it has lots of character...:)

ReplyDeleteMaybe you can use it tomorrow in that conservatory/greenhouse. What's the temp inside there?
ReplyDeleteIt's very pretty, you could use it as a porch decoration until it's warm enough to use it.
ReplyDeleteOh I love it ! I would get another one and use it as a planter ! Love your photos ! Have a good day !

Congratulations! I have one of their watering cans, but mine is smaller. Bigger is better. You will love it!
ReplyDeleteA nice can to have. Many years I have had my entire garden planned by January.
ReplyDeleteLovely Watering but you cant wait to use it.

What a beautiful watering can. I'm itching to get in the garden too. I planted my first seeds inside yesterday.

Very cute watering can! I just saw a cute idea to use a tin bucket and make a nesting birdhouse out of it for Robins and wrens.
