Bonnie, we have the opposite here in Delaware. It was 84 yesterday, forecast the same for today. Coming so quickly, I have not adjusted to the heat, and hide in the cool basement. Too hot, too cold, too wet. At some point, the weather always seem to be too something. But purchased plants are in, and things should take off in this warm stretch.
Just a Hiccup.... I think the Good Lord is keeping you from getting too anxious about planting. He probably just saved tons of plants...reminding you it's just too early....
We have snow in the forecast for tomorrow, but I have a word in with the 'powers that be' to remind them that my spring garden is starting to flower. Hope they listen, lol.
My goodness the winter has been relentless for your area and many others. It is even colder for our area this morning, nothing like you have of course but colder than it should be at 46 degrees. Let's all pray for warm sunshine!
As I was traveling to North Carolina, I heard the news that you were getting snow. So sorry, but you have a lovely, comfortable home to ride it out. Sending you a warm hug, XOXO
Bummer! I do not miss snow.

ReplyDeleteIt's hard on the gardening, but gosh, we needed this up north.
