If heaven has work, I hope I get the job of picking raspberries...
If I get the job I hope the raspberry patch looks like this...
The patch belongs to our wonderful neighbor, Roy. As long as he gets pie and jam, it is mine for the picking. Thanks Roy! Guess there is a little piece, or should I say patch, of heaven here on earth. Happy picking:)
If I get the job I hope the raspberry patch looks like this...
There is nothing more delicious than raspberry jam. Enjoy. Deb (Ontario, Canada)

ReplyDeleteloving it!! I wish I had my own raspberry patch. I have very fond memories of my Aunt Bernadette making raspberry pie...it was seriously the best pie ever!!
ReplyDeleteThose raspberries look awesome. I picked a quart last week and made some fresh raspberry pie. I am hoping to pick a couple of courts sometime soon so I can at least make one batch of jam!

In Ontario at least where I am there are no rasberries just dried berries clinging to dead bushes at least the wild ones I usually enjoy, very sad.
I will be right over for some pie and tea on your beautiful porch OK? B
Nothing like fresh picked raspberries! Lucky you and your neighbor!

ReplyDeleteWhat a nice raspberry patch! I tried to grow them but they just never did very well here. I think that is a great trade. Have a nice weekend.
ReplyDeleteYummers, I would like a few with homemade ice cream. I grew yellow everbearing also and they were a treat late into the summer.I just paid two bucks for a tiny package.
ReplyDeleteThose raspberries do look extremely scrumptious!
ReplyDeleteThey're so pretty growing on the plant! Lucky you!
ReplyDeleteLOVE IT! Those berries are glorious.
ReplyDeleteYes, CALL YOUR GRANDMA. Good girl.
I did write about my grandmother in the book, "My Mother's Garden." A collection of short stories about gardening. Barbara Kingsolver, Frances Hodgson Burnett, and a few others are included.
Pick some raspberries for me and I'll share some nectarines with you!
Love,
Sharon
