Ahh you give me the raspberries...

If heaven has work, I hope I get the job of picking raspberries...
If I get the job I hope the raspberry patch looks like this...

The patch belongs to our wonderful neighbor, Roy.  As long as he gets pie and jam, it is mine for the picking.  Thanks Roy!  Guess there is a little piece, or should I say patch, of heaven here on earth.  Happy picking:)

  3. Those raspberries look awesome. I picked a quart last week and made some fresh raspberry pie. I am hoping to pick a couple of courts sometime soon so I can at least make one batch of jam!

    Love the bottom photo.
In Ontario at least where I am there are no rasberries just dried berries clinging to dead bushes at least the wild ones I usually enjoy, very sad.
I will be right over for some pie and tea on your beautiful porch OK? B

  12. Yummers, I would like a few with homemade ice cream. I grew yellow everbearing also and they were a treat late into the summer.I just paid two bucks for a tiny package.

Yes, CALL YOUR GRANDMA. Good girl.

I did write about my grandmother in the book, "My Mother's Garden." A collection of short stories about gardening. Barbara Kingsolver, Frances Hodgson Burnett, and a few others are included.

Pick some raspberries for me and I'll share some nectarines with you!

    Love,

    Sharon
