Here it goes....

I have always wanted to try a garden blog. Here it goes. My husband and I have a beautiful log cabin in the Black Hills of South Dakota. After we built, I started a flower garden. To this I added raspberries, strawberries, cranberries, and blueberries. My husband helped me create a rose bed and a fruit orchard. A friend brought up some of his beehives. Now this year I will start a new endeavor as I will be adding a greenhouse.

Like the layout but needs to be a little bigger writing hard for me to read. It is very pretty!

A young girl was walking along a beach which thousands of starfish had washed up during a terrible storm. When she came to each starfish, she would pick it up, and throw it back into the ocean. People watched her with amusement. She was doing this for some time when a man approached and said, “Little girl, why are you doing this? Look at this beach! You can’t save all these starfish. You can’t begin to make a difference!” The girl was crushed, suddenly deflated. But after a few moments, she bent down, picked up another starfish, and hurled back into the ocean. She looked up at the man and replied, "I made a diffence to that one." Soon the man and the other people on the beach helped her. All of the starfish were saved.
