No, I did not snowshoe over a cliff...

I am still here.  I didn't snowshoe off the face of the earth.  I haven't written lately, because after -18 temperatures I've found myself to be quite crabby.  No sense sharing that.  Even the rise in temperature has not improved my disposition.  I'm working on it.   These images did cheer me a bit.

I'd give anything to see those colors in the garden.  Unfortunately, that will be awhile...
I did see this little guy buzzing around, so maybe there are happier days ahead.  I have appreciated visiting happier more hopeful blogs.  Thank you for the inspiration.  I will keep thinking spring.

  1. It is so hard to think Spring when you are inundated with snow. Sending warm thoughts. You took some really beautiful sky shots, such pretty colors.

  2. It's been such a long winter...I'd be crabby with you. But then we wouldn't help each other, I guess! Wishing you a good day today, and glimmers of spring soon! Beautiful, beautiful skies!

  5. Marvelous pink skies! And a bee? Lucky you. I saw a fly yesterday, but I'd rather see a bee. We're getting closer to spring. Yes, we are.

  6. Spring is definitely here in England. I haven't seen a bee yet though. Nice capture.

Thank you. Love love, Andrew. Bye.

  7. Oh girl, it has been a rough winter, hasn't it?! Surly spring is around the corner. We had a literal dump of rain last week from what we call the 'pineapple express' which is essentially a trough of rain direct from the tropics. Yucko. Your sky pics are beautiful. Hang in there! Cheers

  8. I understand completely! I know your snow started so early last year, but I believe Spring is about to herald in--hang in there dear friend and thank you for the beautiful sunsets (or are they sunrises). XOXO

Those purple pink skies are pretty ~ the clouds in the lower right hand corner look like some type of animal .

  10. Same here ~ the winter months just seem to drag. Yesterday I had a mosquito in the house - that was my excitement. Then I smacked it one and that was that :) I'm ready to hear the spring peepers; but not the buzz of the mosquitoes and other insects that always seem to survive these harsh winters.

  12. Your sky pictures are beautiful. I'd feel cranky too with those icy cold temps and a blanket of snow. Have you been able to get into your greenhouse to at least smell the soil? I hope that the bee is indeed a harbinger of a quick turn to spring. Take care!
