Spring cleaning commences...

I did a major spring cleaning of the bathroom today.  It is amazing how good it feels to scrub everything from ceiling to floor.  The top of the quilt is finished.  Now I'm hoping I have enough material for the back and I need to order some batting.  The plan had been to just buy some at the local quilt store, but plans change.  Hopefully, there is a way to buy over the internet.  I try to stay local.  It is still snowing.  Spring is my least favorite season.  Around here it is soul crushing.

The chipmunk and bird tracks on the porch are cute.  The tomatoes, broccoli, and melons are up.  In the greenhouse, the spinach is breaking through.  A peek at the fermenting fish was a mistake.  It is most definitely decomposing.  Luckily, you can't smell it unless some dummy takes the lid off.
I hope the weather is better where you are.  What is growing in your garden?  That is your favorite season?

  1. Looks like you're still buried in snow! Ouch. Are you do online teaching these days?

  2. We've had a bit of snow in the past couple of weeks. It is still frosty in the mornings and the water bucket is frozen over. I do envy your little greenhouse! The only thing growing in my garden is rhubarb, ever so slowly. It's been snowed on twice. -Jenn

  3. Snow in Spring!! It makes everything look like a picture postcard but it must be a struggle if you need to get out. There isn't much growing in my garden apart from a few bushes. I like to go to Bodnant Gardens in north Wales and stroll around there. It always seems so peaceful. I hope you're having a good day.

  4. Spring is definitely my favourite season. This year we have only had a few flakes of snow. I can’t imagine having the amount that you do.

  5. Oh my that is a lot of snow! It looks like January. I've sown underground things like onions and carrots but have to wait for beans etc.
Your quilt is stunning! That will be an amazing gift (I think you said it was a gift right?)
