I don't have much to say. I am sharing all of the photos I took on Veterans Day. Dollor started my morning bright and early. Just in time to see the sunrise. I'm not a morning person, but I do love a good sunrise. Lately they have been breathtaking.

Then at about 5:30 pm the light show began....
After running around like crazy getting photos with the cabin, I poured a glass of wine and sat on the upper deck watching the show. I could hear our mountain lion below and the geese flying overhead. Could it get any better than that?
I'm thankful I live in a place where I can enjoy natures beauty. While others had to drive to get out of the light pollution I just stepped outside my door. Did you get to see the lights? Have the sunrises been as amazing where you are? I don't think Mother Nature could have done a better job of thanking our Veterans.

Breath taking!!! I saw a few of the colors. We do not have light pollution we are in the woods and they are dense. With the leaves off now I can see sunrises if I get up early enough.

You are so lucky and blessed to live where you do - And I know that for sure I feel the same way about where I live. Your photos are really WOW, amazing and beautiful and so many other things!! We missed seeing the northern lights in my corner of Virginia because of the clouds.
ReplyDeleteToo much light pollution where I am in FL, and I'm usually too beat to head out after dark. Love, love the shot of your cabin with Pleiades right overhead. Your spot is beautiful for sure.
ReplyDeleteWow, Bonnie! I got to bed too early! Your photos are lovely!
ReplyDeleteWow! Your pictures truly are breath taking. We did capture a bit of color on the iPhone which is rare this far south.
ReplyDeleteBeautiful photos. I don't think we will see them here although some say we will
