The snow is slowly melting. I don't have much activity in my gardens. It looks like everything survived, except perhaps the hydrangea I planted last year. I am happy to see the peonies my mom gave me last fall made it through the winter. There isn't much to do yet, but I did get my birdhouses stained and installed. I certainly enjoyed the warm weather and sunshine. The wild pasque flowers are just starting their spring display.
I'm happy to hear Spring is arriving for you! Those are pretty flowers. I didn't know they grew wild. We are finally getting sunshine and warm temperatures today (there was a dusting of snow this weekend). -Jenn

Aren't those blooms a welcome sight. Soon, you'll have to change the picture at the top of your blog 😊 Don't give up on your hydrangea. I thought I killed mine and have just begun seeing a few green leaves from the base. (Who knew you weren't supposed to prune them?)

ReplyDeleteSuch beautiful Pasque flowers. My son, who hikes in Spearfish Canyon a lot, sent me a pic of a whole lot of them blooming up high. We've finally melted too and my daffodils are starting to bloom and so are the hyacinths. It's so exciting to see everything waking up. Happy Spring!
