I spy...

Since it is prom season, I thought I would share what my husband calls the Grand March at our cabin.

I haven't seen many elk this winter, but was lucky enough to see this herd several times last week. I tried to just take photos as I slowly drove by. I didn't want to disrupt them.

There were about 40 in the herd. They are certainly majestic.

That is all I have. It has been cold and super windy. I haven't been very inspired. I hope you enjoyed the wildlife.

Looks like there was more snow on the ground where you are. Snow in our forecast tonight!
We see lots of turkeys in the pastures here, too. The males are not very cooperative for photo displays.

A young girl was walking along a beach which thousands of starfish had washed up during a terrible storm. When she came to each starfish, she would pick it up, and throw it back into the ocean. People watched her with amusement. She was doing this for some time when a man approached and said, “Little girl, why are you doing this? Look at this beach! You can’t save all these starfish. You can’t begin to make a difference!” The girl was crushed, suddenly deflated. But after a few moments, she bent down, picked up another starfish, and hurled back into the ocean. She looked up at the man and replied, "I made a diffence to that one." Soon the man and the other people on the beach helped her. All of the starfish were saved.
